Narcissists are expert manipulators or negotiators. So blackmailing is there last resort to be used. I would say blackmailing is more of sadistic rather than narcissistic.

While a narcissist will hoover or start trapping you by initial love bombing phases till you not get addicted of them.

Once you are trapped, then they start the real game of manipulation with Love-Abuse, Appreciate-Humiliate cycle.
