In this passage, Jesus reminds us that true freedom is not found in independence, achievement, or doing whatever we please. Real freedom is found in abiding in his word, knowing the truth, and being set free by the Son. As we listen, may we be challenged to remain faithful disciples of Christ and to experience the lasting freedom that only he can give.
