Is The Bible The Infallible Word Of God? The Rewriting of Religious History
What if the most influential book in human history has a backstory we were never taught?
In this episode of High Level Hairesy, we examine the claim of biblical infallibility and trace how the Bible was compiled, translated, edited, and canonized. From early church councils to the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hammadi discoveries, we ask: Who decided what was scripture—and why?
We explore textual inconsistencies, removed books, political influence, and the tension between faith and institutional authority. Was the message preserved perfectly, or shaped over centuries by human hands?
This isn’t about attacking belief. It’s about intellectual honesty. If something is truly divine, it should survive investigation.
Whether you’re a believer, skeptic, or somewhere in between, this episode invites you to look deeper, think critically, and decide for yourself.
History is rarely as clean as we were told. Let’s open the book—and the conversation.
