37 | Nicole - one birth, positive induction past due date, unmedicated, hypnobirthing, spinning babies, positive breastfeeding experience
welcome to episode 37 where we chat today with a good pal Nicole. (Aka she was one of my past wedding clients and I adore her). Nicole brings us along on her journey of her relatively "normal" (what is normal, right?) pregnancy where she decided she desired to have an unmedicated labor. She prepped with spinning babies and hypnobirthing and ultimately went overdue but had a positive induction process. You'll have to listen to hear more, but welcome nicole!
36 | IM PREGNANT!! first trimester recap- cycle tracking, depression, hyperemsis, ER, dehydration, IVs, midwives
HI HI HI. If you haven't heard, I am pregnant lol. Today we chat with ME about my first trimester recap. I first and foremost want to say this is in no way any medication recommendations. IF this is something happening to you, please reach out to a care provider before starting any medications or medical interventions. This is just my personal experience, and I want women to be able to listen and know they are not alone if its happening to them as well. If you are going through this or if you have, my heart is with you.
35 | Taylor B - 3 vaginal births. two hospital, one home birth. induction, overdue, vacuum, breastfeeding, midwife, waterbirth
welcome back, friends! today we chat with Taylor, who has 3 births under her belt. Taylor has 3 very different birth experiences; one OB in hospital, one PCP in hospital and then one home birth. Taylor chats ALOT about the importance of maternal instincts and trusting your body and process during those final weeks of pregnancy. I truly enjoyed chatting and listening to these stories, and I hope you do too. Thanks, Taylor!
34 | Shannon - second time mom, TOLAC?, second breech birth, ECV, moxibustion, bodyworks, cesarean, redemptive breastfeeding journey, oral restriction release
Just to let you all know, Shannon and I can talk for hours. So apologies in advance for talking your ears off ;) Today we talk to Shannon, AGAIN! Before you listen to this podcast makes sure you go back and listen to her first birth story. Shannon had a second breech baby, which I'm not sure the exact statistics but its pretty dang rare to have 2 back to back. Regardless; we chat today about alllllllll the things she did to try to prepare herself as much as possible for a VBAC birth. Shannon talks a LOT about just finding peace with her journey throughout this process and her redemptive breastfeeding journey with her second baby. Along with a pretty long chat about oral restrictions. Its always fun to talk to Shan because she was the person that prompted me to do doula & CLC training. Without this little bundle of joy named Hattie; I may have never done it. Anyways- lets welcome Shannon (AGAIN!), thanks for coming on. :)
33 | Emma H- three pregnancies, two births, miscarriage, bicornuate uterus, breech, cesarean, nicu, ppa/ppd, breastfeeding, pumping
Welcome welcome welcome! Chatting with Emma today was a real fun time. Emma is a stay at home mom of two beautiful babes who juggles mom life with her quilting busiess in small town north dakota. (will link!) Buckle up for a fun chat because Emma & I can TALK. ;) Emma chats about her anxieties & desire for physiological birth along with breastfeeding and how a necessary cesarean took some of those desires away. Her second birth was a redemptive experience. We go on to chat about so many things, honestly if I had to make a full bio on this podcast I'd just give it all away! Lots of good things chatted about today and I just hope you enjoy it as much as I do! https://www.thefarmhousequilter.com/
32 | Samantha - one birth, first time mom, breech, cesarean, NICU stay, pumping journey
Welcome to episode 32! Today we talk with Samantha who had premature rupture of membranes in her first pregnancy with a breech baby resulting in a cesarean birth and a NICU stay. Samantha explains her worries for a vaginal birth and breastfeeding throughout the podcast and I just want to reiterate that on this channel and page we support ALL birth & feeding desires and plans. Every single mama has different desires and wants and it is so important to hear all of them and know that it is OK to choose the path that you want! Thank you so much Samantha for joining and sharing your birth journey with your perfect little (not so little now lol!) babe.

It is such an absolute joy to be chatting with Tanya today! Tanya has two beautiful boys both born via belly birth. We chat a lot about the affects that RSV had on her son, Jett, who caught it at just one week of life. Continuing on we go into her experience with severe oral restriction, low muscle tone and many many many therapies. But eventually we ended up at her positive cesarean birth with her second son, Wells. You'll have to listen to hear more...thanks for joining friend!
