The nervous system is soothed by rhythm, it's one of the oldest co-regulation tools we have. This practice guides you through a gentle, breath-supported sway (even lying still) that accesses that rhythm. Particularly effective for women whose nervous systems are too activated for silence but too tired for effort.

📚 Healing Education Library → Series 4: Release It — Session 23: "When Rest Feels Wrong" explores why the body resists stillness and how rhythmic practices create a pathway in when silence doesn't work.

📁 Resource Vault → RV-17: Why Rest Feels Wrong — four tools to interrupt rest guilt and teach the nervous system that movement toward rest is not weakness.

🏃 Movement Library → Embodied Movement Practices: If you'd like to practice the somatic sway in a more active form, the Embodied Movement series includes slow rhythmic movement practices that work with the same principle.
