Welcome to our new podcast where we talk about local true crime mostly centered around the Tri-Cities in Eastern Washington.
Here it is guys the episode that inspired me to start this podcast. In December of 2007 the small community of Benton City, WA was hit with an unexpected tragedy just before Christmas. I grew up with this family and I am finally telling this story as it never has been told before. This is the case of the Schalchlin Murders.
In this episode we discuss the disgusting crimes of Westley Allan Dodd, a predator who fell through the cracks of an inefficient, overburdened legal system in the late 1980's.
In a Finley, WA home in 1995 Jeremy Sagastegui committed the MOST heinous crime one can commit. This episode has high trigger warnings so listener discretion advised. This man is a monster.
What happened to Sophia Juarez? Sophia left her house on February 4, 2003 never to be seen or heard from again. We dive into this mystery in this weeks episode. Where is she? Who could of taken her? There are so many weird possibilities in this case of what could have happened.
In this episode we are talking about some local rampage killers. Ryan Kaufman went on a firey rampage in August of 2021 killing 4 and injuring 1. Aaron Kelly is a fresh case that is local to us. On February 7, 2022 Aaron walked into the Richland, WA Fred Meyer armed and shot 2 people, leaving 1 dead and 1 injured rocking the entire community in the worst way.
In this episode we are talking about some local spots that are notorious for paranormal activity.
In December 1997, 13-year-old Anna Pelayo was shot and left for dead in Pasco, WA. The case remains unsolved to this day.
In June 2008 Araceli Gomez was 8 1/2 months pregnant when she met Phiengchai Sisouvanh Synhavong at a bus stop in Pasco WA, where Sisouvanh offered to give Araceli some baby clothes. Things took an ugly turn and a body was found in Columbia Park.
