Wisdom Light Murder

In the spring of 1946, the Willamette River revealed a chilling secret: a body dismembered and scattered, a woman never identified. Known only as the Oak Grove Jane Doe, or the Wisdom Light Murder victim, her case remains one of Oregon’s most haunting mysteries.

This episode traces the fragments left behind—the discoveries, the false leads, and the theories about who she might have been. Decades later, the truth is still missing, but the whispers of her story remain.
