God Still Speaks!

Don't be Conformed be Transformed

Every day, the world influences the way we think, what we value, and how we choose to live. But God calls His people to something different. In this episode of God Still Speaks!, we explore the message of Romans 12:2 and what it really means to be transformed by the renewing of your mind rather than simply conforming to the world around you. True transformation begins on the inside. As we spend time with God, study His Word, and allow His truth to take root in our hearts, He begins changing the way we think, respond, make decisions, and live out our faith. We’ll talk about making room for God’s Word to shape our thoughts, recognizing the influences competing for our attention, and allowing our relationship with Jesus to continually transform us from the inside out. If you want to grow deeper in your faith and become more intentional about allowing God—not the world—to shape your life, this message is an encouragement to pursue lasting transformation. “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” — Romans 12:2

How to Choose Happiness and Hope

What do you do when life gives you every reason to feel discouraged? In this episode of God Still Speaks!, we talk about choosing hope even when circumstances are difficult and the answers you’re waiting for haven’t come yet. Happiness and hope don’t require pretending that everything is okay. Sometimes they begin with remembering what God has already brought you through, recognizing the good that still remains, and choosing to keep your heart focused on Him instead of allowing discouragement to take over. Even in seasons that don’t make sense, God is still faithful, still present, and still worthy of our trust. If you’re walking through disappointment, uncertainty, or a difficult season, this message is an encouragement to look beyond the weight of the moment and remember where your strength truly comes from. “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10

Saturated in Scripture

Reading the Bible is important—but what does it mean to let God’s Word become so deeply rooted in us that it naturally shapes the way we think, pray, and live? In this episode of God Still Speaks!, Terry explores what it means to let the Word of Christ “dwell in you richly” and how Scripture can become more than something we simply read. God’s Word can encourage us, strengthen our faith, guide our decisions, and help us recognize His truth throughout our everyday lives. We’ll also look at a simple practice believers have used for generations to hide God’s Word in their hearts and allow Scripture to become a natural part of their relationship with Him. If you want to grow closer to Jesus, know God’s Word more deeply, and allow Scripture to influence your life beyond your Bible-reading time, this message is an invitation to become truly saturated in Scripture. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…” — Colossians 3:16

Seeking God is NOT One-sided

Have you ever felt like your relationship with God depends entirely on how hard you pursue Him? In this episode of God Still Speaks!, we explore an encouraging truth: seeking God is not a one-sided relationship. Scripture reveals a God who not only invites us to draw near to Him, but who desires closeness with us in return. Using the promise found in James 4:8—“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you”—we’ll look at what this means for prayer, faith, and the way we approach our relationship with God. You don’t have to earn God’s attention or convince Him to care. He already desires relationship with His people and continually invites us to know Him more deeply. If you’ve felt distant from God, discouraged in prayer, or as though you’re doing all the reaching, this message offers a reminder that God is reaching toward you too. Take another step toward Him—and trust that He desires to draw near to you.

How Big is Your Box?

Have you ever considered whether you’ve put limits on your relationship with God without even realizing it? In this episode of God Still Speaks!, we look at Paul’s time in Athens and a truth that still applies today: people can be sincere, religious, and genuinely desire to know God while still keeping Him at a distance. Sometimes the “box” we build around God is made from comfort, routine, past experiences, familiar expectations, or simply what feels safe. We become content with what we already know instead of continuing to seek a deeper relationship with Him. God never intended our walk with Him to become stagnant or confined. He invites us to keep growing, seeking, listening, and discovering more of who He is. This episode is a challenge to examine the limits we may have placed on God and ask whether we are truly pursuing Him—or simply staying comfortable with what we already know. The question isn’t whether God has more for us. The question is: how big is your box?

Powerful Morning Prayer for Protection, Healing, Favor & Peace

Start your day by placing yourself, your family, and everything ahead of you into God’s hands. In this special prayer episode of God Still Speaks!, we pray for forgiveness, spiritual renewal, protection, healing, provision, favor, guidance, and the peace of God. Rooted in Scripture, this prayer is an opportunity to quiet your heart, seek the Lord, and begin your day focused on His presence and promises. Together, we pray over our children, grandchildren, families, and loved ones; ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit; seek God’s protection and provision; and pray for healing, strength, and peace in our homes, Israel, Jerusalem, and the nations. Whether you are facing uncertainty, carrying a heavy burden, praying for someone you love, or simply wanting to begin your morning closer to God, join me in prayer and trust Him with the day ahead. May your faith be strengthened, your heart renewed, and your spirit reminded that God is with you wherever today leads.

Who's Your Daddy?

Who is your father—really? In this episode of God Still Speaks!, we explore the story of the Prodigal Son and the incredible love of God as our Heavenly Father. For many people, trusting God as a Father can be difficult when experiences with an earthly father have included rejection, abandonment, disappointment, or pain. But God is not limited by human failure. Our past experiences may shape how we see fatherhood, but they do not define who God is. Through the story of the Prodigal Son, we’ll talk about God’s love, forgiveness, restoration, identity, and what it means to come home to a Father who is waiting with open arms. No matter how far you’ve wandered, how broken you feel, or how unworthy you may think you are, God has not stopped loving you or wanting a relationship with you. If past hurt has made it difficult to trust God, this episode offers encouragement to see your Heavenly Father through a new lens and begin building a deeper relationship with Him. Your earthly father may have failed you, but your Heavenly Father never will.

Don't Worry - God is Fighting for You!

What do you do when life feels uncertain and the way forward seems impossible? In this episode of God Still Speaks!, we look at how God provides, protects, and makes a way for His people even in the middle of overwhelming circumstances. Just as He made a path through the sea for Moses and the children of Israel, God is still able to bring peace in chaos, open doors, and provide exactly what is needed. Fear, financial pressure, emotional exhaustion, relationship struggles, and uncertainty about the future can make it difficult to trust. But God knows what we need before we even ask, and we do not have to carry every burden alone. If you have been praying for breakthrough, provision, peace, direction, or simply the strength to keep going, this message is an encouragement to place your trust in the God who is already at work. You may not see the answer yet, but that does not mean God is absent. He is still fighting for you.

The Power you Didn't Expect

What if one of the greatest sources of spiritual freedom isn’t something dramatic, but something deeply personal—forgiveness? In this episode of God Still Speaks!, we explore the unexpected power of choosing to forgive and what can happen when we finally release the hurt, anger, and resentment we’ve been carrying. Forgiveness doesn’t mean pretending the wrong never happened or excusing someone’s behavior. Instead, it allows us to release the burden, make room for healing, and move forward in the freedom and peace God desires for us. Through biblical principles, personal insight, and practical encouragement, we’ll talk about forgiveness, reconciliation, obedience, and allowing God to work in the painful places of our lives. If you’re struggling to forgive someone, carrying wounds from the past, or simply wanting to grow deeper in your relationship with God, this message will encourage you to consider what forgiveness could unlock in your own life. God still speaks—and sometimes His direction leads us toward the very freedom we didn’t know we needed.

The Game Changer - Praise vs Thanksgiving

What’s the difference between thanking God for what He has done and praising Him for who He is? In this episode of God Still Speaks!, we explore the powerful roles of both praise and thanksgiving in our relationship with God. Thanksgiving recognizes His blessings, miracles, provision, and mighty works, while praise comes from a heart that chooses to honor and trust Him in every season—even before circumstances change. We’ll talk about how praise and gratitude can shift your perspective during difficult times, strengthen your faith, quiet worry, and help you become more sensitive to God’s presence and His voice. You’ll also discover what it means to thank God before the breakthrough, praise Him through the valleys as well as on the mountaintops, and develop a deeper life of worship and trust. When our focus shifts from our circumstances to who God is, it can change everything.
