In this episode I’m exploring a common childhood fear–monsters under the bed–except these encounters really happened. I found over a dozen examples of people swearing up and down that when they were a child something came out from under their bed. The stories I’m reading come from Reddit and the Forteana Forums and describe skeletons, goblins, and hands reaching up at them as they tried to sleep. I find this subject absolutely fascinating, and it plays into one of my supernatural obsessions.

Be careful not to let your foot dangle over the side of the bed, and thanks for tuning in. ✶ Check out my blog where I write about Irish folklore, here.
