Notas del episodio
We are joined by beat-maker, accordion player, saxophonist, vocalist, pianist.....okay… multi-instrumentalist, multi-talented chameleon Jason Fabus (JFab Productions). Jason plays everything from trad Jazz to Polka to Dilla-style hip hop beats that often feature collaborators. He's based in LA where he freelances as an instrumentalist, and pays rent with passive income from Youtube, Spotify, and other online streaming platforms.
Jason and Host Adam Meckler talk about the importance of understanding music technology, how to get connected in the Low-Fi beat scene, how to get your tracks on Spotify playlists, how to build your following on sites like Youtube and Spotify, collaborating with other artists, staying motivated during a pandemic, and more.
