Your evening Georgia weather update Here comes a classic Georgia late spring pattern today with temperatures climbing from the comfortable 60s this morning into the mid-80s by afternoon. Right now, most areas are sitting in the low 70s with partly cloudy skies overhead. Starting early this morning around 3 A.M., we saw a brief round of light showers move through parts of Metro Atlanta and Eastern Georgia - nothing significant, just enough to dampen the pavement in a few spots.
