Over the past fifteen or so years, the makeup of the NBA landscape has drastically shifted from one of relative parity to one dominated by a few “superteams.” Such superteams feature multiple stars and are typically a shoe-in to at least make the NBA Finals, if not win it all. Today’s NBA is no different, as teams like the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets can be reasonably considered rough equivalents of superteams that previously dominated the league.
