What Makes Someone Friendship Material?

We have boyfriend lists. Husband lists. Deal-breakers. Non-negotiables. But have you ever stopped to think about what you actually want in a friend? As we get older, making friends becomes more complicated. Proximity and shared interests might have been enough when we were younger, but adult friendships often require something deeper. In this episode, I talk about being more intentional about the friendships we build and ask: Are you friends because you're genuinely compatible or because you enjoy the activity that brought you together? I explore friendships standards and non-negotiables, friendships built on alcohol and partying, trauma bonded friendships, the role of shared interests and proximity, and whether loneliness can cause us to lower our standards.

Healing Doesn't Make You Unrejectable

Is Space in a Relationship a Bad Thing?
