Episode 24 - Welcome To Derry

This episode, The Jims go full horror-scholar mode on Welcome to Derry, dissecting the mythology, timelines, and cosmic horror lurking beneath the streets of Stephen King’s most cursed town. They explore how the series expands the IT lore, ties into Pennywise’s cyclical awakenings, and leans into themes of generational trauma, predestination, and small-town rot. From deep cuts and Easter eggs to narrative choices, pacing, and how well it honors King’s larger Dark Tower–adjacent universe, this is less a review and more a full autopsy. Expect speculation, comparisons to the films and novel, and the kind of obsessive analysis that proves Derry isn’t just haunted — it’s doomed.
