Jesus' wisdom and life gives us a wonderful picture of a centred and peaceful life in the most challenging of circumstances. We continue our teaching series looking at what Jesus has to say in Matthew 6 - unpacking the Jewish idiom of a "good eye" that describes a generous person, and how Jesus cleverly uses this to teach us about those who receive God's "light" (metaphor for wisdom) will shape our view of money. We also unpack the use of the Aramaic word "mammon" and the significance of why this wasn't translated into Greek - and what it means for our lives.
