Life is short, yet God tells us to enjoy our lives. How can we do this? How do we have hope during our short lives? And what are we meant to enjoy? Joe Starks explores these questions and sees that the Preacher in Ecclesiastes is pointing us to the hope we have in Christ and the life we have beyond the grave.
Wisdom responds rightly to authority, wisdom acknowledges our finiteness, and wisdom rejoices in God’s infinite goodness. Wisdom is ultimately not about finding the answer for every perplexing problem in our world. Wisdom is about learning to trust in our good God who sent Jesus Christ to save us from our sins.
