I recently had the privilege of chatting with Dr. David Chotka, a pastor and author who has traveled the world equipping persecuted and impoverished churches. His stories of seeing the raw faith of believers in places like Ukraine and Uganda firsthand were incredibly inspiring. These persecuted Christians had next to nothing materially, yet their joy and trust in God in the midst of horrific circumstances was profound.
