This week begins the month of Elul, the last month of the Jewish year and the one preceding Rosh Hashana. It is known as the month of “stock taking”. During the month of Elul we spend our time introspectively, accounting for our past year and seeing what changes we can make for the future. Let us all make this month one that is valuable. Let’s look inside of ourselves, find the positivity and commit to changing some of the less positive, too.
