Notas del episodio
A new bypass is proposed to run from the back areas wetland/swamp behind the main town area of beautiful Byron Bay, the NSW Coastal tourist mecca and major international holiday destination, into the south end of the town. The road has been in the planning process for over a decade. Byron Council is currently at the tender stage for the major road. Some Byron residents are not happy and say the development saying it will cut through wetlands and create other traffic problems in the area. David Frappel from the Butler Street Reserve communtiy group discusses these concerns.
