The Eagle Mountain Planning Commission met on September 22 for a work session and policy session. The work session included a discussion and training item on Sports and Recreation Planning. Key agenda items in the policy session included three public hearings and action items: an ordinance amending Eagle Mountain Municipal Code Sections 16.25.040, 17.10.030, and 17.60.040 to identify wildland urban interface (WUI) lots on final plats, permit vegetation removal allowances required by Utah Code, and add associated definitions; an ordinance amending Sections 9.10 and 17.47 regarding archery use within the city; and an ordinance rezoning Corrigan Farms to add the RTI overlay zone to parcel 59:068:0006 to allow a data center project with a natural gas powerplant. The agenda also included the Corrigan Farms Development Agreement.
