Kayak Adventure Series Mississippi Bronzequest Recap

We are home from what was the most fun tournament we've fished. If you're interested in fishing tournaments and have a Kayak Adventure Series event near you then you need to check it out. We made a 13 hour drive to get to this and would do it again. We found some awesome water and enjoyed the wildlife we saw and the people we got to meet. Tennessee Travel, Camping, and Creek Fishing Adventure

This was such a fun trip to Tennessee with the main goal in mind being to get my wife on her first ever smallmouth bass. We will be making a trip up to Minnesota in a week to chase big smallies at the Kayak Adventure Series event. We started out by fishing the Caney Fork River which was beautiful and then day 2 on the water was a secret smallmouth creek. Lets just say the goal was accomplished as there were a lot of smallies caught. Listen in as we tell about the good, bad, and ugly of this trip. There were so many laughs and several carry over to this livestream.

Today we are discussing the outcome of the kayak bass fishing month long tournaments we competed in. The weather including water temperatures have been very different this year from normal and the fishing was tough. We both made some mistakes that cost us big fish but we were able to put together limits including Calah's first ever in a tournament. We also discuss our experiences with frog fishing and some of our failures and victories in learning this awesome technique.
