1. Engineering and design firm McAdams acquired Sports Design Group, the McKinney, Texas, athletic facility design practice whose founder Richard McDonald brings experience with about 250 synthetic turf fields.
2. Celebrity Greens, a TenCate company based in Scottsdale, will build 18 Fazio Design Technologies green complexes inside CityGolf USA's first indoor golf facility in Nashville, planned to open in Winter 2026.
3. Winter Garden, Florida, unanimously adopted Ordinance 26-25, setting standards for permitting, permeability, stormwater, PFAS content, infill, and disposal for residential and commercial artificial turf.
4. The Recycled Rubber Coalition, an industry group, says field data from Cardigan Mountain in New Hampshire and Silkeborg, Denmark, show containment measures can cut infill migration to as little as 10 kilograms per field per year.
5. The Tonga Football Association broke ground at Veitongo, Tongatapu, on the kingdom's first artificial football pitch, a TOP$2.5 million FIFA Forward project to be delivered by Edel Grass with MK Construction Consultancy.
