Our Calling to Be “The Mighty” (193)

God’s people are called “the mighty” in Psalm 29 and “sons of the mighty” in Psalm 89. Our Father is the Almighty (the all-powerful, all-sufficient God). The Holy Spirit is the “Spirit of might” who dwells within us, strengthening us with “might” in the inner man. Wielding spiritual weapons that are “mighty through God” is simply part of our inheritance. This is a powerful revelation that will awaken faith and courage in you. God Calls Us His “HIDDEN ONES” (192)

God names His people “hidden ones” in Psalm 83:3. First, this passage applies to Israel, surrounded by nations that would like to destroy her. Second, it applies to God’s New Covenant people who have been grafted into Israel God promises to hide us from the shrewd plots of godless people and satanic powers. If you belong to Jesus, you are “hidden” in the “secret of His presence” and “under the shadow of His wings.” This supernatural preservation will become more evident as evil intensifies in this world. Our Calling to Be AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST (191)

Ambassadors are representatives, messengers sent on a specific mission, those who speak, not their own minds, but the mind and will of those nations or rulers who are being represented. This episode will open your eyes to the heart God has toward those who are of the world, deceived, and defiled: how He pleads through His ambassadors for erring sinners to be reconciled to Him. A powerful truth. Our Calling to Be GOLDEN LAMPSTANDS (190)

In the book of the Revelation, the seven churches of Asia are symbolized by seven menorah lampstands, similar to the ones that lit the holy place in the temple of God, two thousand years ago. There are five facets to a seven-branched lampstand, and each represents an important prophetic truth: the vessel, the oil, the wick, the fire, and the light. You will learn the poetic and symbolic way that the mind of God works. An amazing study! God Calls His People "His Beloved" (Ep. 2)

You are just as beloved of the Father as Jesus, the firstborn Son, if you’ve surrendered your life to Him. Hard to believe? One prayer Jesus prayed proves it. When you realize the perfect love that God has toward you, it casts out all fear and much more. www.shreveministries.org

The Bride of Christ: A Crown of Glory (308)

You shall be a “crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God” (Is. 62:3). The prophet Isaiah spoke these wondrous words over Jerusalem, revealing the ultimate state of this eternal city in the New Creation to come. However, Revelation 21:9 reveals that New Jerusalem, is a symbol for the eternal bride of Christ, so this title belongs to you. Such a rich revelation. Your coronation awaits! The Pearl of Great Price / A Symbol for the Bride of Christ (291)

Jesus compares His eternal bride to a “pearl of great price.” This is one of the great mysteries of the kingdom of God. A pearl is encased in an oyster shell, which frankly is one of the ugliest shells in the sea. Yet it contains a sought-after jewel of great beauty and value. What a heartwarming revelation of the identity and nature of God's people and the pearl-producing-process preparing us for our eternal destiny. The Beauty of Being “God’s Garden” (219)

The Bible depicts the bride of Christ as “God’s Garden.” You may think your past disqualifies you for such an attractive symbol, but salvation has beautified you for time and eternity. In a world that often denies the existence of a Creator, the church is a peaceful and fruitful, garden-like haven for the heavenly Gardener. In a world that often produces anxiety, damages people, and leaves them hungry for truth, the church is a garden-like sanctuary providing peace, beauty, and spiritual nourishment. Names of the Holy Spirit (188)

Various names given to the Holy Spirit indicate our inheritance as “partakers of the Holy Spirit” (Heb. 6:4). For example, He is called “the Helper” so we can expect Him to help us in time of need.
