Giuseppe accidently gained access to the Italian bureau of Desperate Dogs where he met Buffy, Gunther, Bruce, Pierre and their boss Alpha via video link. Alpha explained the history of the D.D. organisation and how their role is to protect the bond between humans and dogs. She invited Giuseppe to become an apprentice to the team and meet them at the ‘Pet Store.’ Now all he has to do is get there in a very strange egg like transport pod.
