CUPE Talk In The Atlantic

This week’s CUPE Talk in the Atlantic is packed with updates, interviews, and regional news! Nick and Chris welcome CUPE Nova Scotia host Matthew MacDonald, who brings the latest CUPE NS updates and an important conversation with Lachlan Sheldrick (VP, Local 3912 NSCAD Unit) on the ongoing strike.

Iris weighs in with her first impressions of the NB Budget released earlier today, with more commentary on the way. Nick also chats with IAFF 771 President Tyler Embree about the 2026 Battle of the Badges.

We also highlight what’s coming up across the Atlantic labour movement — PSAC events, the CUPE NB Young Workers Conference, and all the upcoming CUPE conventions in the region.
