It's the 26th January, 1966, and it's a stinking hot summer's day in Somerton Park, South Australia, and hundreds of beach goers are cooling off at popular Glenelg Beach. The Beaumont Children, Jane aged 9, Arnna aged 7, and Grant aged 4, were amongst them, enjoying a swim and a play before catching the 12:00 o'clock bus back home, their mother Nancy waiting for them....

Only they didn't get off the 12:00 o'clock bus, nor did they get off the next one at 2:00 o'clock, and soon Nancy and the children's father Jim, were living every parents worst nightmare and reporting their three precious children missing. Soon enough the whole of Australia knew about these missing children and then the world, and despite all the attention their disappearance garnered and eye witnesses who saw the children at the beach that day, it appeared they simply vanished without a trace.

Join Belinda over a coffee or two as she takes a deep dive into Australia's longest running missing person's case - The Beaumont Children.
