The building block to every relationship, whether with an individual or organization, is communication. Communication is the hinge that all relationships hang on. It determines our levels of access, protection, provision, and even pain. Unfortunately, we often forget that at all times we are sending a message.

Communication is not just about the verbals, the things we release out of our mouths, it also includes the nonverbal communication that we use. Since everything turns according to our communication, we must learn to master the message we send to others. We must learn to build, and not tear down… to affirm and not discredit.
