Coffee Beanery Sip and Share is back with a full Japanese snack tasting! Laurie, Patti, and Britain dig into the goodies Laurie brought home from Japan—beautiful packaging, Google Translate struggles, and lots of opinions. We try the elusive honey butter cookies from Mount Fuji (the ones they hunted the whole trip and never found again), strawberry bean-paste “mochi,” chocolate steamed buns, maple butter sand cookies, drinkable konjac jelly, and a whole lineup of Japanese Kit Kats (salted caramel, banana, sakura/cherry blossom, and more). Some are instant favorites. Some are… not. Expect texture debates, strong sesame, fake strawberry disasters, sour-candy eye-watering moments, and the dogs desperately trying to get in on the action.
