Climate Change in the Movies ft. Lydia Dean Pilcher

This episode of Climate Spill features a conversation with Lydia Dean Pilcher, a two-time Emmy-winning, Academy Award-nominated producer, with a resume so long and impressive, it'll exceed the character limit on this episode description. Among her many industry achievements, Lydia has been a leader in climate activism and sustainability within the film and TV space. We chatted about that work, including her recent role as a member of the advisory board for the UNFCCC Entertainment & Culture For Climate Action - Film & TV

Steering Committee. We also spoke more broadly about the state of climate storytelling, why movies are an important tool for climate communication, and at the end, we unlocked the secrets to achieving immortality (Just kidding, but I figured I lost some of you when I wrote an acronym with 6 letters, half of which were consecutive C's - congrats if you rode that one out).
