Boston-Something About You

This week on Classic Vinyl Podcast, Justin, Austin, and Tyler take a look at Boston and their song “Something About You” from the band’s massive 1976 debut album. We’ll talk about Tom Scholz’s painstaking studio approach, the layered guitars and soaring harmonies that helped define Boston’s sound, and how this deeper album cut fits alongside some of the biggest rock songs of the ’70s. Along the way, we’ll dig into the recording, the musicians behind it, and why “Something About You” is another great example of just how strong that first Boston album really was.
