Klaatu-Anus From Uranus

This week on Classic Vinyl Podcast, Justin and Tyler take a trip into the wonderfully weird world of Klaatu and their 1976 song “Anus of Uranus.” Yes, that is really the title. We’ll dig into the mysterious Canadian band, the strange humor behind the song, and the mix of progressive rock, pop, and studio experimentation that made Klaatu such a fascinating band in the first place. Along the way, we’ll talk about the recording, the musicians behind it, and why this bizarre little track is a perfect example of just how adventurous ’70s rock could get.
