Liturgy and Evangelism, a Conversation

Buckle up. This might be the most important episode we've recorded in three seasons of Christ In All Things. “’Liturgy and Evangelism,’ a Conversation” is deeply theological and personal for both pastors here. It’s about being lost and being found by Christ. The conversation flows from “Liturgy and Evangelism” by Dr. Kurt Marquardt (Please listen to the previous episode for the full reading of that essay.). We make application to the life of the Church in general and at St. Paul’s. We pray that reflecting on this essay will be as challenging—and as enlightening—for you as it was for the pastors involved here. We think you’ll hear that in spades.

For the text of Dr. Marquardt’s essay, see “Liturgy and Evangelism” in Lutheran Worship: History and Practice (St. Louis, CPH, 1993) 58-76.
