Every couple enters marriage with values, beliefs, and priorities that feel obvious to them. Values are the core beliefs and principles each person holds about what is right, important, or worthwhile in life. Most people assume their partner sees life the same way they do. But when two people start building a life together, those assumptions get tested. Decisions about money, family, faith, career, parenting, rest, and purpose all reveal what each person actually values.
