In the heart of Advent, we turn to one of the most beautiful passages in all of Scripture: Philippians 2:1–11, often called the Christ Hymn. As the world speeds up and gets louder, this text gently invites us to slow down and look closely at Jesus—who He is, how He loves, and what His humility means for our everyday lives.

In this reflective Advent meditation, we consider how the God who could have remained distant instead bent low to meet us—taking on human flesh, choosing servanthood over status, and walking a path that led from the manger to the cross and then to the empty tomb.

This is not a “to-do list” episode. It’s an invitation to quiet worship, to let the mind of Christ shape our posture toward God, ourselves, and others. ...
