Can You Be a Catholic AND a Feminist? feat. Samantha Povlock, FemCatholic

Secular feminism has had an often negative connotation throughout the decades of the women's movement. But feminism doesn’t have to mean Butler, Sanger or de Beauvoir. It can mean the Teresas (of Avila, Lisieux, Calcutta and the cross), it can mean Gianna and Gemma and Joan. It can mean the teachings of the church and of JPII on the inherent dignity of women, the right of women to pursue their callings and the end of violence against women. Today, Samantha Povlock of FemCatholic joins us to help unravel and embrace this new integrated version of being a woman.

Chakras + the Church: When the Pursuit of Perfection Becomes Dangerous - feat. Fr. John Szada

When you think of possession and making yourself vulnerable to evil spirits, you're probably thinking playing with tarot cards or Ouija boards, not personal development, right? New trends in the realm of personal growth sound great in theory, but may actually be opening us up to attack, not blessings. Father John Szada, exorcist for the Diocese, explains how growth without God could be very dangerous.
