Rob “Flans” Flansburg is a Saratoga Springs, New York, native and attended the University of Rhode Island, after playing two years at the junior college level, to pursue his dream in becoming a professional hockey player.

When Rob realized hockey was no longer in his foreseeable future after injuries, he decided to workout each day of the week while in college. He then realized that he wanted to start competing in body building competitions and take the sport more seriously a year before he graduated.

This past year was Rob’s first time competing and he mentions it was one of the best years of his life. Tune into this weeks episode of Cam’s Corner to hear all about Rob’s body building journey and the motivation behind his mentality !
