Romans 13:1-14

The Main Point: The Christian life is all about Jesus.

• The Christian life involves Christlike respect. (vv1-7; Rom 1:16)
  • Obey earthly leaders. (vv1-5; Dan 2:21a; Jer 27:5-6; Acts 24:16)
  • Pay earthly obligations. (vv6-7; 1 Tim 2:1-2; 1 Pet 2:13-17, 21-23; Mt 22:21b)
• The Christian life involves Christlike love. (vv8-10; Mt 5:17; Jn 10:11; 1 Jn 3:16; Jn 13:34-35; 1 Jn 4:7-11)
• The Christian life involves Christlike holiness. (vv11-14; 1 Jn 1:5; 3:5; Col 1:13-14; Mt 5:14-16)
