Rick goes through the Sermon on the Mount and explains in detail how Jesus is teaching his disciples (those who are practicing a discipline given by their teacher) how to interact with the Father in an intimate way. Jesus amplifies the Law and gets them to see the "heart of the matter" and shows them ways they can interact with the outside world and gain a closer relationship to the Father each time.
