Fatimah Bee @busybumblebee_ was born and raised in New York City. She is the youngest of 10 children. Ms. Bee is a Substance-abuse Intervention Prevention Counselor. She graduated from York College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Community Health Education. Fatimah is an aspiring author and is in the process of writing her first children’s book series. She has worked in education for half of her life. Her love for working with the youth began with her first job at age 16 as a culinary arts instructor for a non-profit organization. At the age of 18 she had an opportunity to work as a summer camp counselor, it was this experience that allowed her to realize just how important instilling certain values in youth can make a world of difference.
