We’re taking the opportunity this week to talk about the dynamics of the caregiver-survivor relationship as it has been for me over the past four years. Not having proper expectations has often been a downfall for me. Remember that “caregivers” are our doctors and nurses and spouses and significant others and friends and children. It takes a village to heal us.

I think this would have been a great topic earlier on in the podcast season, but things were just starting to evolve for me as to what those relationships look like now that I am more independent.
