Science, Corpses, and Cordelia Being Iconic | Buffy Rewatch

This week on Buffy Babes we’re rewatching Some Assembly Required, one of the creepiest early Season 2 episodes. We talk mad science vs magic, Chris and Eric as human villains, why Daryl’s choices make zero sense as parents now, and how this storyline has unfortunately aged very well. We also gush over Buffy’s outfits, Cordelia saving the tone of the episode, early Giles and Jenny flirting, and Angel dressing suspiciously like Xander.

Plus, we dive into major Buffy reboot talk, breaking down Sarah Michelle Gellar’s recent interview, what “continuation not reboot” actually means, possible episode counts, old characters returning (or not), and why we just want Buffy to be happy.

💬 Do you find this episode creepy, sad, or just frustrating? And what do YOU hope the new Buffy series does differently? Tell us in the comments!
