The discussion focuses on getting a HUGE win at The Marra during Family Weekend, taking down GW 2-1 for the squad's first Atlantic 10 victory of the season. The players break down the past few games, the honor of wearing the captain armbands, practice methods; and most importantly, how they made the decision to come to St. Bonaventure. The captains also talk about the delicate balance (and challenge) of D1 athletics and academics. Coach Giordano also shares some insights on using data to supplement his coaching style for his "blue-collar group". As this podcast airs, the Bonnies will be traveling to Cleveland to face the Vikings of Cleveland State

Coach Razz breaks down how he - and his coaching staff - get the team involved in both academics and athletics as newcomers come in. Coach Razz also talks about Point Grid - and how this system feeds into his study of analytics, as well as how Associate Coach B.J. Salerno and hitting coach Jackson DeJohn study batters' tendencies. Gavin Watson and Ryan Addeo sit down with Bonnies Men's Soccer Head Coach Mick Giordano and get right into a recap of the tie with Dayton on the road October 18th. Coach Girodano explains how important that match was to come away with points in a very tough Atlantic 10 Conference. The return of Avery Dreasky from injury and getting the senior's leadership back on the field was a highlight this past week. Coach also talks about managing and mentoring the team as a whole, on & off the pitch, what's called a "Foot First Focus". A quick recap of George Mason is also discussed, along with a preview for this Saturday's home A10 match with La Salle on Senior Night!

Coach Girodano gives his thoughts on his first season at the helm, as well as his opinion on the length of the season, relegation, and system changes overall to not only conference play, but the challenge facing mid-major schools. Coach Girodano even goes a little "behind the curtain" to talk about the logistics of scheduling and travel. They also discuss the Fordham match that completed the season. Bonus, a discussion of changes Coach Girodano would be making with practice sessions and off season training methods.
