What does it look like to live out the love of Christ when people are difficult, when we are misunderstood, or when we have been hurt?
In Romans 12:9–21, the Apostle Paul gives us a remarkably practical picture of Christian love. We are called to love genuinely, honour one another, help those in need, rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. We are also challenged to bless those who hurt or persecute us, refuse to repay evil with evil, and — as far as it depends on us — live at peace with everyone.
