36 - Art of Bulk Cards Need Love Too with Vorthos Mike

Vorthos Mike, art aficionado extraordinaire, calls into the Bolcast to discuss some of his fave Magic artists, how he deepens his appreciation of the game through the art, and putting on installations and panels with artists at MagicCon. We just talk for a long time. There isn't really a Bolas question like a villain story or pet peeve. We kind of just talk about how much we love the art. I spend some time talking about how going through my bulk has reinvigorated my love for the game. Get into it! 30 - Sore Losers with MTGMuddstah

This week on Am I The Bolcast?, we begin with a pared down conversation between Morgan and Mike. A discussion about the times we're living in. Love and solidarity to all dealing with the awfulness happening. Be the light in the world. That said, what a delightful guest! Andrew aka MTGMuddstah calls in to chat about his process, his beginnings, the origins of the name, and people who lose and immediately say "I wouldn't have one if..." 29 - A Hot Take Tweet with Nile Joan Rivers

This week on Am I The Bolcast?, we get a call from Nile Joan Rivers about the time she tweeted about EDHREC and people were not cool about it. The tweet in question, for context, "Idk if this is a hot take or not but i think edhrec has done a ton of damage to this format. Everything is so homogenized now and you just see the same lists over and over" Folks were real dogpile-y about this and we get into it. Safe to say, we're a little biased at Am I the Bolcast? with our origins lying in the EDHREC sister site CommandersHerald.com. That said, Nile raises some good points and we discuss the merits as well as the effects of a data site like EDHREC on the format. All in all, we love EDHREC and if somebody's not into EDHREC, then that's cool too. Don't be a dick. Make sure to follow Nile and check out her Linktree https://linktr.ee/NileJoanRivers Also, donate to Bobbie Christine!
