In light of today’s awe-inspiring wartime killing technologies, it only seems logical and reasonable to interpret the one-hour time frame within which the greatest man-made political, economic, and military force man has ever known is projected to collapse, as a literal possibility. One said, it seems rational enough, but is it? If indeed the U.S. is in God’s economy the only possible shoe that fits the foot of Babylon the Great, as it most assuredly appears to be, is it really sensible to believe that even God can bring down so great, so awesome a world force and military power, so widely dispersed a people as we, in only one hour?
