He then transferred to KV Kortrijk of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, playing 53 times between 2018 and 2021. He joined D.C. United on loan in 2021 and signed permanently on January 4, 2022. Austin FC Brendan Hines-Ike joined Austin FC as a free agent on February 14, 2024. During his first season he made 28 MLS appearances with 25 starts, played the full 90 minutes in 7 of the team's 9 clean sheets, and scored two goals including a 93rd-minute winner in a 3-2 home victory over Colorado Rapids. Austin FC He made 33 starts in 2025 — the best season of his career — and his contract automatically renewed for 2026 after he met performance clauses.

Taraboi arrived at Michigan as a preferred walk-on, turning down scholarship offers from San Diego and Valparaiso to pursue his dream of playing Big Ten football. That decision speaks volumes about his character — choosing the harder path with no guarantees over a sure thing at a smaller program. A three-time letter winner (2022, 2024–25), Taraboi made his collegiate debut along the offensive line against UConn in September 2022 University of Michigan Athletics, earning the respect of coaches and teammates in the process. He's also been recognized twice as an Academic All-Big Ten honoree (2024–25) University of Michigan Athletics, demonstrating that his commitment extends far beyond the field.
