Are You Really Saved… or Just Following What You’ve Been Told? (doing 'good' won't save you)

Welcome back! In this episode, we’re coming back to the foundation of our faith, the truth that nothing we do can earn our way to heaven or make up for our sin. Not good works, not giving, not religious systems, only Jesus. His sacrifice alone paid the full debt we owe and made a way for us to truly know God. We’ll talk about how serving, loving others, and living well are beautiful and important, but they come from knowing Him, not earning Him. This is about giving credit where it’s due and understanding that being a Christian isn’t about striving, it’s about trusting fully in what Jesus already finished. So this week, “Be Still” and rest in the truth that it’s already been done.

How to get closer to Jesus, when you feel distant?

Welcome back! In this episode, I’m sharing simple and practical ways to reconnect with Jesus when you feel distant or disconnected in your faith. From starting your day with prayer, spending intentional time in the Word, and listening to worship music, to journaling your thoughts, being honest with God, finding a Christ centered community, and creating space for silence, these small habits can help you realign your heart and make room for His presence in your everyday life. Whether you’re in a dry season or just need a reset, these are gentle reminders that Jesus is always near, you just have to invite Him in. 20 Things I've Learned in my 20's (and still learning)!

Welcome back! In this episode, I dive into 20 lessons I've learned (and am still learning) in my 20's, focusing on friendships, faith, mental health, and relationships. If you’ve ever felt like you’re too much, not enough, or stuck trying to be everything for everyone, this is your reminder that you are not who they say you are, you are who He says you are. This week, let’s learn to let go of labels and stand firm in the identity God has already given us. Be still, and let His voice be the loudest!

Be Ready: Is Jesus coming back soon? How will we know? What are the signs?

Welcome back! In this episode, I discuss what it may look like when Jesus comes back and how to prepare. I simplify the coming of the Son of Man in six steps! I also walk through Mathew 24, when Jesus gives us a clear description of the signs to look out for, such as earthly storms, wickedness, and false messiahs. I also tie in a few pieces of scripture from Revelation, including the drying of the Euphrates River, flooding in desserts, lovers of self, and rivers turning to blood. All of these signs have been unfolding the past year or two. I remind all of us to stay aware and educated because we will never know the day or time. Remember to 'Be Still' and 'Be Ready'!

Be Untethered to Your Mistakes: Are shame and conviction the same thing? What can shame do to me? Is perfection achievable?

Welcome back! In this episode, I discuss the difference in shame, guilt, and conviction, and what shame can sound like when we make mistakes. I share a personal story about a time I felt shameful, and how the Lord still used me to make this episode. I also walk through John 21, when Jesus finds Peter fishing after he betrayed Him three times, yet still loves him. I wrap up the pod with a few ways on how we can transform shame into conviction, through confession, prayer, and accountability. Lastly, I end with a reminder that perfection is impossible, which is the whole point of Jesus's sacrifice. 'Be Still' and 'Be Untethered to Your Mistakes'!

Be Evangelic: Is mission work only over seas? How can I incorporate sharing the gospel into my daily life?

Welcome back! In this episode, I discuss the duty that Jesus left us with after He rose from the dead, which is to spread the gospel to all the nations! I also discuss the reality of sharing the good news in your daily lives, and how it can be done right in your home town. I also share a few funny stories of my own, about sharing the gospel in Clemson. I focus on the verse from Mathew 28: 18-20, which discusses Jesus calling all of His children to go and spread the good news to all the nations. I end the podcast with a few ways you can easily spread the word throughout your daily life! 'Be Still' and 'Be Evangelic'!
