Being Age Conscious + Banger Boys + I Created a Scramble Game
Explícito
BTS of this episode I hit episode 10 this week, and I'm still buzzing about it. Between celebrating that milestone, I got into it about a guy I met on a language exchange app, someone almost a decade younger than me. The vibe was great until I really sat with the age gap and just couldn't shake the feeling that continuing would be off. That led me down a rabbit hole about whether "feeling wrong" always means something actually is wrong, or if it's just society messing with our heads. My faith keeps me grounded here, because what's right stays right no matter how fickle everyone else gets. I also share the update on my novel, still editing, still proud of every page I finish. Then there's the return of that fool from episode 6, the one who resurfaced out of nowhere with a video call and some seriously unwanted content. I get into why people who hide behind timers and disappearing messages don't sit right with me, and my theory on what he was really trying to pull. Spoiler: report, block, move on, every single time. To close things out, I talk about my new weekly challenge of creating something from scratch, starting with a little scramble game I built myself. It's a small thing, but it made me really happy, and I want to know what you're creating too. Come hang out with me in this one, it's a lot.
Choosing Your Battles + Double Standards + Subconscious Conditioning
Explícito
BTS of this episode I can't care about everything at the same intensity, and neither can you. This episode dives into the trap of trying to please the whole internet while your own home is on fire, the double standards we excuse depending on who's doing the leering, and the prejudices we all carry but rarely admit to. I also get real about subconscious conditioning, like why I once felt compelled to finish every pack of snacks in front of me, and what that says about how easily our minds get shaped without our permission.
Love and Politics: Should Partners Support the Same Political Candidate?
BTS of this episode I asked my friends a simple question: if your partner wants to vote for someone you see as incompetent, does it change how you see them? Their answers came in raw and honest, touching on tribalism, shared values, and what it really means to build a life with someone. Some drew hard lines, others found room for disagreement, but every voice here reflects real thoughts from real people, not mine.
Burnout + X Drama + Whistling
Explícito
The Friendless Friend OCD, The Lies We Believe BTS Of This Episode This week almost didn't happen. Six episodes in, quitting crossed my mind, but episode 10 is still the goal, so here we are, unfiltered and unscripted. Most of this episode is about my wild ride on X. What started as posting into the void with nine followers turned into a 92-day challenge, real growth, and eventually burnout that I ignored for way too long. There's a lesson in there about growth without burnout that I'm still learning to apply. Then come the stories. A supposed travel agency that turned out to be a full-blown scam, and a smooth-talking guy from a space who seemed perfect for a friend until he showed his true colors on a phone call. Both stories have their fair share of chaos and comedy. To close things out, there's some real talk about R&B artists and heartbreak, an update on my whistling journey with Amazing Grace, and a sneak peek at my upcoming fiction book, Mareds. Come for the stories, stay for the lessons.

My hope is that sharing my story helps you recognize these warning signs in your own life, because sometimes the best thing you can do is simply run.
Your Strength Could Be Their Weapon + Suffering in Silence + Reframing The Letdown

From childhood lessons about sharing to adult experiences with false accusations and manipulation, I unpack how kindness without boundaries opens the door for people to exploit you. And honestly, being smart about who you help is just as important as being kind. Throughout this episode, I get vulnerable about my struggles with isolation during health challenges and introduce my book "The Friendless Friend," which was born from my own pain. You'll also hear how turning disappointment into an experiment completely changed my perspective. A candid, thoughtful conversation about setting boundaries, reading patterns, and finding growth in unexpected places.
Real Stories of Regret, Boundaries & Starting Over
Explícito
BTS of this episode Six of my friends share stories they have never forgotten, stories of procrastination that cost more than expected, relationships that taught hard lessons about boundaries and self-worth, and setbacks that eventually led to something greater. A man reflects on putting off something his father kept asking him to do, never knowing it would be the last time he had the chance. A woman traces the pattern she kept repeating in relationships until she finally chose herself. Someone else shares what it took to stop letting one difficult person rob them of their peace. There are also lessons about loyalty, what happens when you go out of your way for someone and they disappear, and a life that looked like it was falling apart in the final stretch only to come together better than anyone expected. These are not motivational speeches, they are real experiences shared honestly, with something worth taking away from every single one.
Near Highway Accident + Empathy in Suffering + I Finally Learned Papaoutai by Stromae
Explícito
My book on Amazon Learning papa ou tai BTS recording this episode In this episode, I share a chilling true story of a near highway collision that turned out to be no accident at all. The experience sparked a deep dive into whether we can truly empathise with others when we are drowning in our own pain, and left some very hard questions about suffering, selfishness and the weight our pain can place on complete strangers. Back in university, finding a bundle of cash while hungry and broke with my roommate led to a decision that did not make my roommate happy at all. The story opens up a bigger conversation about integrity, empathy and whether doing the right thing even makes sense when you are the one who is suffering. One of my most embarrassing moments also makes an appearance, involving an ATM that electrocuted me in the middle of the night and the very undignified solution that came to mind to get my card back, because sometimes life is just that unserious. The episode closes with a February adventure of learning and recording Papaoutai by Stromae, which was far more stressful than expected, along with a link to the short ebook OCD The Lies We Believe, available on Amazon for anyone who wants an honest and uncensored look at what living with OCD is really like.
