Uncanny Treks: New X-Men Vol. 2- “Imperial” (2002, Comic)

The Shi'ar come calling. Bob and Matt continue Morrison's New X-Men with Imperial — Cassandra Nova hijacks Xavier's body and turns the Imperial Guard into her weapon, while a mysterious healer named Xorn joins the mansion staff. It's space opera as psychological horror, and the run's engine room. Matt's suspicious of Xorn; Bob claims he saw it coming. The Nova saga reaches its brutal peak.
