Uncanny Treks: Spider-Man & Batman (1995 & 1997, Comic)

When Marvel met DC — twice. Bob and Matt revisit J.M. DeMatteis's two Batman/Spider-Man crossovers: 1995's Disordered Minds (Mark Bagley), teaming the heroes against Joker and Carnage, and 1997's New Age Dawning (Graham Nolan), with Ra's al Ghul blackmailing the Kingpin. It's the purest '90s crossover formula: heroes clash, villains team up, everybody learns something. Matt's here for the Bagley art; Bob's cataloging the continuity nods. Two publishers, one very crowded book.
